Biography
Elisee N. Myrthil, a man with no limits. He is known to be a trendsetter, innovator, and the people’s advocate. Elisee is one of the youngest CEO's to own a private-public benefit corporation in the United States. His vision is to become the first globally known community relations CEO with not just one corporation, but hundreds across the globe; teaching and reaching all.
Born on May 8th 1984 in the West Indian Island, the forth-surviving child, parents Nahomie J. Myrthil mother and Gaspard Myrthil, he stood in a crowd of his own. With an older sister, twin sister, younger sister and older brother he was known to be the outgoing, out spoken and very free spirited one out of the his siblings.
He first started reaching out to his community at the age of ten by involving himself in various community affairs such as youth summits and jazz festivals. When he was a child he liked to express his creativity in writing poetry and short stories.
Growing up in the rough streets of Dorchester, Mattapan, and Hyde Park Massachusetts violence, drugs, and bad decisions was just around the corner from him every day for twenty-one years. However, his head and heart was set on improving the chances he had.
At a very young age, Elisee started a community outreach group formed by the community, local churches, and students. He grasps the meaning of helping to promote change for social improvements. By the age of twelve, he started getting more in-depth with his community by volunteering at various after school functions, to help keep his peers off the streets.
Attending Grammar School at the Frank V. Thompson Middle School in Dorchester Massachusetts, he made school history by becoming the youngest student to run for student body President and winning the election in 1995. From there he took his position to the next level be really becoming the voice of the student body. While there, he helped implement the values of student's right to free speech, to make positive changes in their education.
However, by the end of his middle school year in October of 1997, tragedy rocked Elisee’s life hard. That year he lost a very close friend, of three years, due to gun violence and senseless killing. He called this era the era of pain, for the one thing Elisee was fighting everyday to help shed light to and help prevent, hit home in the worst way. Many thought he would give up in the fight for safer streets and schools, but he kept on fighting.
At the age of fourteen, he decided to dedicate his life to Christ and became very active in the church's activities. He attended a youth congress staged at Madison Park High School gymnasium. He decided to join this organization called OMAD (Operation Makes a Difference). He saw first what the power that God could do if you just hold out and believe. Assisting the church to reach out to the community, Elisee saw a much greater vision and wanted to take part in it.
September 1998 Elisee entered his first year of high school at Brighton High School in Massachusetts; he called this the best years of his life. Being in the Business and Technology study course he played a major part in the student body and faculty. He helped in the designing and engineering of the schoolyard initiative project. Elisee saw the potentials of gaining an education. Even though his first year grades were not as he wanted it to be, he was still highly respected for his contributions to the growth of Brighton High School until this day.
Very active in his school extracurricular activities, such as football, coaching, etc Elisee took his mission to the next level by promoting his mission on school grounds, and even Capital Hill. Still in great standards with his high school, Elisee sometimes takes the time to go and share his experiences with the student body.
Winner of the City Build award for the part he played in the New Balance building took his learning to new heights. Blue honor star recipient for JROTC achievements and leadership skills, he became a TSS (Technical Support Student), helping to maintain the network of the school and IT issues they may have faced. Working and going to school was the life styled he lived for years to come.
Recipient of the WHO’S WHO for young mind in management, he developed a business urgency. Being in management in most of his working life Elisee set records for companies such as MetLife, Laundromax USA, ABLE FINANCIAL SERVICES. Recipient of the Editor's award for his work in literature he took it to the next level and started working on his poetry book due to come out next year in the fall.
Being the free spirited individual he is, Elisee went out on his own in the world. Attempting to join the United State Marines Corps, he found himself wanting to be just a community leader. However, his dreams were shattered when illness took over his body.
Therefore, he decided to continue his education by attending Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts. Majoring in Psychology, a course he enjoyed in high school. He even became a mediator, helping in isolating issues before they climb to their critical points. As well as becoming a member of the child, advocate program.
Respected by the United States Marine Corps, he became a volunteer worker for the recruiting post in Downtown Boston Massachusetts. Now a resident of the State of California Elisee is very active in the community still to this very day.
